Hawaiian Beginner Vocab - Nouns

At this point, you've learned a good amount of vocab from the Hawaiian Starter Vocab series. To move forward, we'll start to getting a little more detailed and specific with our vocab. These won't be terms to just "get by," but to begin having more in-depth conversations in Hawaiian.

So, to start the Hawaiian Beginner Vocab off, we'll add on to the Nouns that we know from the Starter Vocab (Nouns 1 and Nouns 2): People, Jobs / Professions, and Clothing.

Notice how some of these are Collective Nouns, some have a macron over their plural counterpart, and some are exceptions to the K E, A, O rule.

Test what you've learned with the vocab quizzes below!

But remember: nothing beats good, old-fashioned pen and paper!
