NEW CONTENT!

Listening to music in your target language can help you better understand the pronunciation, grammar, and overall melody of the language. In this new tab, you'll find playlists of traditional Hawaiian music recorded from several radio shows, each with in-between commentary of the songs, artists, and significance. Song and poetry (mele in Hawaiian) are always important to study for cultural and historical context, as is familiarity of song-writers, instrumental composers, and performers.

AND - it's not just music!

Also featured are TV and radio programs of interlocutors speaking only in Hawaiian. This is perfect for those who are more advanced in the language and would like the immersion, or for beginners who need to hear Hawaiian spoken aloud, even if you can't understand it!

These playlists are always being added to, so check back every week for a new video!
